Amy Sapien is the Head of Business Development at CureOnco,
an international cancer app developed by a pediatric
osteosarcoma researcher at MD Anderson but which will be
available for all types of cancer.Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social
received her Masters of Social Work from the University of South
Florida. She is a 20 year career social worker with ten years
in non-profits and ten years as a medical social worker for the
VA with WWII Veterans and Veterans with Spinal Cord Injuries
and Disorders.
Amy is the mom to 2 boys: Landen and Corben. Landen
is currently in treatment for ALL T cell Leukemia until November
2022. Amy was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in
2020. After her son’s diagnosis, Amy committed to lending her social work background to raise awareness and advocate for the Pink and Gold communities. She is the founder of the Facebook group “Childhood Cancer Advocates” and has been featured by numerous local and national news organizations speaking about COVID’s impact on cancer treatment. Amy has an interest in promoting earlier diagnosis, and has collaborated with the American Board of Pediatrics to add questions pertaining to pediatric cancer to their continuous education program.

Amy lives with her husband Callen in Tampa, Florida with their two boys, puppy, cat and pet tarantula “Spiderman."
