Randee Wittkopf is a high school social studies teacher who lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband, Jonathan and their two sons. She and her family lead a very active life; their oldest plays football and baseball, the younger is a competitive trampoline and tumbling gymnast, and when not working or running the carpools to various events, they all enjoy  spending time as a family outdoors and at Smith Mountain Lake.

The family's busy life came to a screeching halt when, in January 2020, an MRI showed a tumor growing on the soft tissue of their oldest son's brain. Diagnosed with a myxoid sarcoma, Tucker underwent surgery followed by proton therapy radiation to eradicate the tumor. Since April 2020, Tucker has remained stable and is currently cancer free.

Randee became involved with Prep4Gold through Tucker's Little League baseball coach and current Chairman of the Board, Henry White. She is looking forward to contributing to Prep4Gold's mission to bring more attention to research and prevention of childhood cancers. Her main focus is to bring awareness and hopefully funding for continued therapy and care for survivors and their families after treatment.
