Edward (Ed) J. Seibolt has spent his career in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) field with over forty years’ experience in sales, marketing, brand building and product development. Ed’s current role is Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Ferrero/Fannie May Confections, a worldwide leader in the premium chocolate business. One of his responsibilities include serving as the on-air guest spokesperson at QVC for the Fannie May brand with over 600 live television appearances since 2007, elevating the brand to the #1 food item. Ed also represented the food category as a member of QVC’s Guest Advisory Board from 2010-2013. Prior assignments include sales and marketing positions at Fortune 500 companies: Bausch & Lomb, Sunbeam-Oster and Polaroid Corporation

 

Ed graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Administrative Management and minor in Economics. During his career he has attended executive management programs at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the Wharton School of Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Ed is married with five children, including two sets of boy and girl twins, and lives in Westlake, Ohio. He is active with the National Confectioners Association (NCA) and serves on a variety of committees and boards including the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the NCA’s Sweets & Snacks Expo Committee, NCA State-of-the-Industry Committee, NCA Mentoring Program, and the NCA Strategic Vision 2025 Working Group. Ed was inducted into the NCSA Candy Hall of Fame in October 2022. He also served on the Business Advisory Board at John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio where he did some lecturing to undergraduate business students.

 

Ed was founder and coach of the Rocky River Steelheads U18 Baseball Club in Rocky River, Ohio and now serves as player-coach as the Steelheads have morphed into men’s softball.

He is an avid tennis player and enjoys biking, the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family.
