Edward J. Seibolt is a true titan in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) sector,

boasting an extraordinary career spanning over four decades. As the Vice

President of Sales and Business Development for Ferrero/Fannie May

Confections, he currently leads initiatives for a global powerhouse in premium

chocolates, leveraging his twenty-four years as a seasoned veteran in the confectionery industry.

Ed's dynamic presence extends far beyond the boardroom. He was widely recognized as the charismatic on-air guest spokesperson for the Harry London and Fannie May brands at QVC for sixteen years. Beginning in 2007 through 2023, his impressive record of over 600 live television appearances not only elevated his premium chocolates to the coveted position of the #1 food item but has also cemented his reputation as a trusted voice in the industry. His influence was further acknowledged through his service on QVC’s esteemed Guest Advisory Board from 2010 to 2013, where he expertly represented the food category. Before dedicating himself to the sweet world of confections, Ed honed his sales and marketing prowess at distinguished Fortune 500 companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Sunbeam-Oster, and Polaroid Corporation.

Academically, Ed is a proud alumnus of Clemson University, where he earned a B.S. in Administrative Management with a minor in Economics. His commitment to continuous learning is evident through his participation in elite executive management programs at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the Wharton School of Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania, reflecting his dedication to leadership excellence.

A true icon in his field, Ed has been a pivotal figure within the National Confectioners Association (NCA) for over a decade. His leadership has shaped the industry, serving as former Chairman and current member of the NCA’s Sweets & Snacks Expo Committee, a key force behind the industry's premier trade show. He also contributes significantly to the NCA State-of-the-Industry Committee, the NCA Mentoring Program, and the NCA Strategic Vision 2025 Working Group, continually fostering innovation and growth. His profound impact and distinguished career were celebrated with his well-deserved induction into the NCSA Candy Hall of Fame in October 2022. Beyond the confectionery world, Ed has shared his experience and thought leadership as a lecturer to undergraduate business students on the Business Advisory Board at John Carroll University and currently sits on the board for Prep4Gold (www.prep4gold.com) , a charitable organization passionately dedicated to pediatric cancer research.

Ed resides in Westlake, Ohio, with his wife and their five children, including two sets of boy and girl twins. Five grandchildren keep things active and interesting without a dull moment. His passion for sports runs deep; he was the founder and coach of the Rocky River Steelheads U18 Baseball Club, which has since evolved into a men's softball team where he continues to play and coach. Off the field, Ed is an avid tennis player, enjoys biking and the outdoors, relishes traveling, and cherishes every moment spent with his family
