Dan Lader is CIO of Kind Lending, where he leads infrastructure,

cybersecurity, AI, data, reporting and applicable support functions for this

$12 billion per year mortgage originator. Prior to joining Kind Lending, Dan

was VP of Application Delivery at Common Securitization Solutions, where

he led development, quality assurance and performance engineering teams

that supported the platform responsible for issuance and administration of a $15 trillion portfolio of mortgage-backed securities.

Prior to joining CSS, Dan was the CIO of Elevate Care International, which was formed via divesture from Sodexo in October 2023. Dan joined Sodexo in January 2023 as part of the executive management team of the Worldwide Home Care division to help drive the sale of this 25,000+ person business, which was acquired by The Halifax Group, a private equity firm. Dan negotiated the related Transition Services Agreement and led the effort to disentangle all technology components of the Home Care business from Sodexo, and establish an independent operating entity.

Throughout his nearly 30-year career, Dan has held senior Technology roles primarily within the Financial Services industry, and also within Healthcare. Prior to joining Sodexo, Dan was Senior Vice President of Engineering at GoodLeap, a sustainable home solutions marketplace where he was responsible for end-to-end mortgage technology and their enterprise CRM solution, as the company significantly scaled its platform.

Dan spent the first 10 years of his career in Technology Consulting at AMS (now CGI, Inc.) and KPMG, and the last 20 years in senior technology leadership roles at the following companies: The Carlyle Group, Fannie Mae, loanDepot and Impac Mortgage, where he was CIO for two years, prior to joining GoodLeap.

Dan’s academic credentials include an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, a BS, Engineering and Policy, Washington University, St. Louis, MO and a BA, Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA.

Dan and his family reside in Orange, CA, and in his spare time, beyond his engagement with Prep4Gold, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and training for and competing in open water swimming events, cycling races and triathlons. Dan has completed an Ironman, three Half Ironman triathlons and 70-plus Olympic distance triathlons, including USA Age Group Nationals. His most recent race was his first 24 hour mountain bike race, which he completed as a 4 person relay in February 2026, wherein he covered 101 miles and 7000 feet of vertical on very little sleep!
