Brady Lucas is a smiler, speaker, storyteller, and two‑time childhood

cancer thriver. He is the author of Smiley’s Smile (2023), a picture book

created to help children understand cancer with courage and

empowerment. His advocacy centers on childhood cancer prevention

and supporting long‑term well‑being through exercise, nutrition,

mindfulness, and mental health.

Brady works as a Major Gifts Officer at MultiCare Health System and

serves as the patient advocate on the NMDP Institutional Review Board. He also contributes as a Wish Granter for Make‑A‑Wish Alaska and Washington. 

 

A graduate of Penn State with degrees in Biobehavioral Health and Curriculum & Instruction (Children’s Literature), Brady lives in the Greater Seattle area with his wife, Julia. He lives by his faith and the motto Smiles Make the World Go Round. Learn more at bradylucasauthor.com.
